I think it will be a great idea to add RTL support
This app is my absolute loved app. I think it will be a great idea to add RTL support . Now when you read a non English news lets say Arabic , the app does not recognize the writing direction..... I think you should able to make it that the app recognize it automatically or you add as an option in the app preferences

Bug: Title URL is using the GUID tag not the LINK tag
In the Dropbox release notes feed (https://www.dropbox.com/release_notes/rss.xml), the url for the title link is coming from the guid tag and not the link tag.

Bug - old articles don't disappear
One particular feed (NYTimes Recipes for Health) constantly adds old articles so that there are 15 "new" articles in my reader, even though they are old and I have read them. I mark them as unread, and minutes later, they are back in my feed.

Allow me to delete an article
When I go through the results of a feed, why can't I delete ones that I don't want to see or ones that I've already read?

Relative paths in feeds are interpreted as file://
The relative links in feeds such as http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/extra-credits
are interpreted as file:// locations.4 votes -
add a 'mark as unread' feature...
I case I accidentally click, or don't finish and want to go back later to read.

four finger scroll to next article doesn't work on MacBook Pro's trackpad
With Apple Magic TrackPad, I could do four-finger scrolls to move to the previous/next article. But I can't do the same with MacBook Pro's (2011) trackpad!

There's no "Find" option in Lite!
I just need to look for a feed... to find out that there is no "Find" option!
This goes too far deep into UX to not be present.1 vote -
Application freezes too frequent
The application freezes too frequent with me when I was on Snow Leopard & now on Lion for no obvious reason. Also, I get an unread count for the same articles I already read several times in a day, and sometimes I get a new unread count for articles I read few days back.

The behauviour of "Open in Browser"...
In preferences, I select "Open links..." in "Browser..." in "Background."
That works fine with links from the feeds but if I select a Cmd-link WITHIN an article, the page pop-ups in front of the app (remembers "in browser" but not "in background").
I would like to see the same behauviour for any link.
Thanks a lot for the app!1 vote -

The menubar could use a little work
particularly mark as read. That should probably be a contextual menu item. It's weird to have to click that after you've read everything you intend to read in a feed.
Instapaper should have its own icon, contextual menu AND a keyboard shortcut. Same with tweeting and facebooking if you're into that. This application lends itself to being keyboard shortcut happy. I'd rather not have to use the menu bar at all.
Next unread doesn't make sense. Why would anyone click a button to go to the next unread when they could click the next article? I understand there may be…

add more article view options
The provided ones are very limited. None of them are especially helpful in terms of readability.

adopt the Safari way of handing RSS feeds.
Once "page" is viewed, mark all articles as read. Optional, of course.

Hidden scrollbar (like in Lion)
In "normal mode" and while viewing websites.
